Multi-sensory new media art exhibition

The Ignite Festival is a festival showcasing immersive experiences that blend cutting-edge creativity with interactive technology. The festival spans three locations; Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, and Dania Beach, FL. The Digital Archive exhibit was featured in this event during the month of February, introducing classic seasonality to a South Florida audience. This series reimagines botanical forms as dynamic expressions of time, memory, and human connection.
In this exhibit, physical floral arrangements are captured and digitized to symbolically express each month from August 2024 to May 2025. Exhibition audio composed by producer David Friend. The 12-minute soundscape sonically depicts the natural seasonal cycle of the earth through a digital perspective with each minute simulating a month of the year.
